I Spoke Too Soon

Money and support are pouring into the Kamala campaign. I can feel the stupidity rising. Soon, it will be at a fever pitch. A wave of virus swept Joe Biden into power. A much denser wave is lifting Kamala Harris.

Cautious Optimism

The Republican convention just ended, and I must observe that things seem to be looking up.

The Democrats have exposed themselves as utterly foul. The Biden Administration began its term by surrendering in Afghanistan and humiliating the United States in front of the world. They proceeded to let every miscreant on earth come across our southern border with whatever baggage they were carrying, including illegal fentanyl. In the debate with Donald Trump, Joe Biden looked like a decrepit fool. Finally, they attempted to assassinate the Republican candidate…and could not even get that right. The list of Democrat failures under the Biden administration is far too long to recount and far too unsavory for me to dwell on. I will leave it at that.

Donald Trump emerged from the Democrat’s failed assassination plot as an honorary war hero. Actual combat veterans are taking their hats off to his courage under gunfire. I must admit that I would probably not have had the courage and presence of mind under those circumstances to raise my fist in defiance. Now, that image is before the world. It is both stunning and miraculous. Donald Trump seems to have the mandate of heaven.

Trump’s choice for vice president, J.D. Vance, is one of the best decisions of his career. I had never paid much attention to Vance when I heard him speak at other times. When he spoke at the convention, I was impressed at how calm and gentlemanly he is. This is especially impressive considering his background. I have heard derisive comments about his beard, but I think it gives him a vintage presidential look. If Trump cannot complete his second term, Vance will step right into the slot. In 2028, Vance will be the perfect successor.

Having said all that, I must now add a word of caution. Before covid hit, it looked like Trump would skate into a second term. I was surprised that the Democrats blamed Trump for the pandemic and dumbfounded when Americans fell for it. That was when I coined my new interpretation of USA: Unbelievably Stupid Americans.

There are about three and one-half months until the November 5 election. The Democrats will choose a new candidate and the Lefty media will portray whoever they choose as the true Savior. Ignoring the lessons of the last week, they will continue to call Trump “Hitler”. Will Americans forget everything they have learned over the last four years?

I will let you know what I think on November 6.
